Studio Recording: Sally's Song

Here I am in full costume, performing the beautiful and rather melancholy "Sally's Song", from one of my favourite films; stop motion classic "The Nightmare Before Christmas", produced by Tim Burton and directed by Henry Selick.

Sally, a rag doll-like creation of Dr. Finkelstein, the mad scientist is deeply in love with Jack Skellington (the protagonist) and in this song, laments for Jack's safety and what she sees as the very unlikely blossoming of a romance between herself and Jack.

If you've seen the film, you'll be well aware of the ending, but if not, you should watch this film as soon as you can! This was recorded in October 2023, for Halloween, and the film's 30th anniversary.
